FAQ

What is Life Coaching?

Life Coaching is a partnership where you, the client, set the agenda. By firstly identifying your goals and needs, you and I will work together to help you move toward fulfilling your dreams. Perhaps you've tried goal setting before? Did it work? But Life Coaching is much more than just goal setting.

Imagine having someone who is totally committed to helping you achieve your dreams and ambitions; who will support and guide you every step of the way; who will never judge nor criticise you; who will celebrate your successes and help you deal with the "downs" of life. As your Life Coach, I will be that someone - your own personal "Cheer Leader"!

How Does It Work?

Our partnership will take the format of weekly (or fortnightly) telephone calls, each lasting 30-45 minutes. Between sessions, you will have some "homework" to complete (which you will have agreed to) and can contact me by e-mail at any time.

Isn't Coaching just another name for Counselling?

Definitely not. Counselling and other therapies tend to focus on unresolved issues from the past and are a great help to people at vulnerable points in their lives. Coaching moves you from where you are now to where you want to be. As your coach, I do not need to know about your past.

Can Coaching Be Used For Everything in Life?

Just about! Coaching deals with your whole life because it is important to have balance in all areas, including Money; Health & Fitness; Family & Friends, Fun & Recreation; Career/Work (or Business); Significant Other/Romance; Personal Development & Growth; Physical Environment.

Surely I Can Do This For Myself?

Yes, in time you probably could. So why haven't you? The coaching relationship really does make a difference to the speed at which you can move forward because I will be completely focussed on what you want to achieve. I will encourage and keep you motivated when you start to waver. Coaching is not for the faint-hearted, it requires effort and commitment to make lasting changes! Are you ready for the challenge?
